Russia’s latest attacks on Ukraine killed at least six people, local authorities said, as strikes hit communities and energy infrastructure. In Dnipropetrovsk, two people were killed and six wounded on Friday after attacks across five districts; the governor said the region had been struck at least 50 times by drones, artillery and aerial bombs.
The latest exchange also targeted commercial and economic infrastructure. Multiple drones hit a Wildberries logistics facility in Yekaterinburg, where fires broke out after the site had been evacuated, according to the company.

Deaths and injuries reported across Ukraine
In Kherson, a Molniya drone struck a car on a road and killed a 77-year-old woman, the local military administration said. Eight bus passengers were among dozens wounded in other attacks. In Kharkiv, two people were killed by cluster munitions, while the city’s governor said at least 18 people were wounded after strikes hit 21 settlements with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Donetsk Governor Vadym Filashkin reported one death on Friday morning and said the region had been shelled at least 44 times since Thursday. In Russian-controlled Crimea, the Russian-installed governor, Sergei Aksyonov, said a Ukrainian drone hit an apartment building and killed two people.
Wildberries facility catches fire in Yekaterinburg
Multiple drones were seen over a Wildberries logistics facility in Yekaterinburg early on Friday before large fires broke out. Wildberries confirmed the attack on Telegram and said the facility had been evacuated beforehand and that the flames had been contained.
The strike was the latest against Wildberries since mid-July, when Kyiv began attacking at least 20 of the company’s sites. The attacks have killed at least 13 people, caused fires and destroyed stock, according to the source material. Ukraine says the retailer supports Moscow’s war effort, while Russia and Wildberries deny the accusation.

Energy sites and Black Sea shipping also targeted
Ukraine says its 40-day campaign against Russian energy infrastructure has hit 14 refineries, several oil depots and loading terminals, 14 aircraft and four airfields. Russia, meanwhile, attacked seven oil and gas production facilities in eastern Ukraine overnight into Friday, according to Naftogaz, which said critical equipment was destroyed.
Russia’s Defence Ministry said its forces also hit two cargo vessels in the Black Sea that it alleged were being used for the Ukrainian military. The ministry said Russian forces struck fuel-storage facilities at the port of Pivdennyi.
Zelenskyy visits Serbia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Serbia on Friday for his first official visit there. He said on X that discussions would include expanding economic ties, relations with the European Union and other issues affecting both countries.

The visit was expected to anger Russia, which has long-standing ties with Serbia and supplies the country with natural gas.
